Aggie Muster Happy Hour
Time & Location
About The Event
Each year, Aggies gather on April 21 to celebrate Muster around the world. From small gatherings with barbecue and beer to larger formal events hosted in hotel ballrooms, past observances have been as diverse as Aggies themselves.
Traditionally, the largest Muster has been held on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station.
This year is unique.
Unlike the men pictured above, who were asked to leave the comfort of their homes and families to fight on the island of Corregidor, we have been asked to serve our country by staying (very) close to our families and not leaving our homes.
While it might be argued that Aggie Muster is an “essential service” (and Gov. Perry would surely have declared it so), we will gain strength from those who have come before us and use our Aggie Ingenuity to honor our fellow former students who have passed on in the preceding year – while continuing to do our part in the battle against COVID-19.
The Association of Former Students’ Worldwide Roll Call for the Absent will start off the day at 06:51 CDT, streaming from https://MusterLive.AggieNetwork.com.
At 18:00 CDT (6:00pm), your Aggie buds will gather for a Houston Aggie Women virtual Happy Hour.
Wear your Aggie maroon and bring your favorite beverage (in a Kim Thompson glass if you have one).
Can’t wait to see you there!
