November 2018 Luncheon

About The Event
Survive the Holidays with Style and Grace
Although the holidays are meant to be the "most wonderful time of the year" they are usually the most stressful. Take the reindeer by the antlers and come learn how to put the joy back in your world! Leave with a better understanding of the stress that often creeps in and ways to create the kind of holiday season you want instead of the one that you are left with. Get ready to enjoy the hubbub without turning into Ebenezer Scrooge!
IN ADDITION to hearing a (useful and much-needed) informative talk from Erin Robison '93 during this lunch, we will be collecting interview-appropriate attire (both men's and women's) for donation to the TEXAS A&M CAREER CLOSET.
At Texas A&M University, 42 percent of students demonstrate the need for financial assistance and struggle to purchase a professional wardrobe for job and internship interviews. The Career Closet helps alleviate this burden. The Texas A&M Career Closet seeks to ensure that all students have equal opportunity to pursue the career of their dreams.
Please bring your clean, gently-used clothing items on hangers.
Women – suits, jackets/blazers, dress skirts, dress pants, blouses, dress shoes
Men – suits, jackets/blazers, dress pants, dress shirts, ties, dress shoes
So get in there and clean out those closets! Find those old suits you know you'll never wear again and bring 'em with you.
Lunch is served family-style - usually salad, pasta, and don't forget those fabulous desserts!
If you have dietary restrictions, please note those on your registration. We will do our best to accommodate.
